Easy At-Home Cocktails: A Round-Up of Our 12 Days of Christmas Cocktails

At Louth Distillery, we’ve taken the spirit of Christmas and crafted 12 days worth of festive cocktails using our signature Pin Gin, the smooth Rum Cat, and our newest addition, Lincolnshire Vodka. With minimal ingredients and maximum flavour, these recipes are perfect for impressing guests or treating yourself - without the stress of complicated mixing.
From sparkling Christmas tipples to cozy winter warmers, there’s a cocktail for every day of the countdown to Christmas.
Day 1: Santa's Espresso Rumtini
We kicked off the 12 Days of Christmas Cocktails with a classic Rum School favourite. This rich, coffee-infused cocktail is perfect for post-dinner sipping or a Christmas evening pick-me-up. It combines the deep rum flavours of our Cappuccino Rum Cat with added espresso and a hint of sweetness.
Recipe:

Fill a cocktail shaker 2/3 with ice
Add 50ml of our Rum Cat Cappuccino
Add 20ml of sugar syrup
Add 50ml of espresso (or instant coffee mixed into 100ml boiling water)
Shake vigorously for 25-30 seconds
Pour into a chilled martini or coupe glass and garnish with coffee beans
Day 2: Merry Berry Sour
A bright and tangy cocktail with a festive berry hue, thanks to our Strawberry and Rhubarb Pin Gin and a splash of grenadine syrup. Fruity and refreshing with a slight sour edge, perfect for any Christmas gathering.

Recipe:
Fill a cocktail shaker 2/3 with ice
Add 50ml of our Strawberry & Rhubarb Pin Gin
Add 15ml of sugar syrup
Add 20ml of lemon juice
Add 10ml of grenadine syrup (optional for that added berry colour!)
Shake vigorously for 25-30 seconds
Pour into a glass with ice
Add a can of Fever-Tree Indian Tonic Water
Garnish with strawberries
Day 3: Classic G&T
Sometimes simple is best, and what better way than to enjoy a crisp Pin Gin & Tonic using our classic London Dry Pin Gin. You'll be sipping these throughout Christmas day.

Recipe:
Fill a Pin Gin tumblr with plenty of ice
Add 25ml (or 50ml, depending on how merry you're feeling) of our London Dry Pin Gin
Top with a can of Fever-Tree Indian Tonic Water
Garnish with rosemary and cranberries for that festive sparkle

Day 4: Caramel Christmas Punch
A rich and indulgent festive treat, this punch combines the smooth, buttery notes of our Salted Caramel Rum Cat with warming seasonal flavours. Perfect for sharing with friends and family.

Recipe:
Fill a glass with ice
Add 50ml of our Salted Caramel Rum Cat
Add 75ml of cloudy apple juice
Top up with Fever-Tree Ginger Ale
Give it a gentle stir
Day 5: Navidad Naranj Twist

A bright, citrus cocktail bursting with lively flavours and a beautiful orange hue of our Valencian Orange Pin Gin. The Navidad Naranj(a) Twist will transport your sipping to the Spanish sunshine this Christmas. Zesty and refreshing, a great way to add a splash of warmth and colour to your celebrations.

Recipe:
Fill a Pin Gin glass with ice
Add a 50ml of our Valencian Orange Pin Gin
Add a splash of soda water
Add a splash of prosecco
Top up with cranberry juice
Garnish with an orange slice and cranberries
Day 6: Hedgerow Royale

A sparkling celebration in a glass, combining rich, fruity notes of our Sloe Pin Gin with the sparkling elegance of prosecco. Fruity, crisp, and delightfully festive, perfect for toasting to the Christmas break in style.
Recipe:
Fill a prosecco flute with chilled prosecco
Top up with our Sloe Pin Gin (as much as you fancy)
Garnish with something festive (our go-to are sloe berries)
Day 7: Candy Cane Martini

This festive twist on the James Bond classic combines the smooth, refined flavour of our Lincolnshire Vodka with a touch of festive flair. Crisp and indulgent, it's a Christmas treat for any vodka fan.
Recipe:
Fill a cocktail shaker 2/3 with ice
Add 60ml of our Lincolnshire Vodka
Add 10ml of dry vermouth
Hard shake for 10-15 seconds
Garnish with a candy cane for that christmas effect
Day 8: Lemon Snow Drop
Mixing a burst of sunshine with a touch of snow, the Lemon Snow Drop brings the crisp freshness of citrus with our Lemon & Lime Pin Gin to your glass while adding a playful sparkle to your celebrations. It's a cocktail that captures the essence of winter sunshine and the joy of the festive season in every sip.

Recipe:
Take a cut lemon and gentrly rub around the rim of a chilled coupe glass, then coating it in sugar
Fill a cocktail shaker 2/3 with ice
Add 50ml of our Lemon & Lime Pin Gin
Add 15ml of sugar syrup
Add 15ml of lemon juice
Shake for 10-15 seconds
Strain into a coupe glass
Top up with prosecco
Granish with a lemon wheel
Day 9: Snow Globe Spritz
Effortlessly festive and easy to make, this sparkling cocktail lets the gin flavours shine without any fuss. And don't worry about a lack of kick - our Navy Strength Pin Gin is our strongest gin, made for those who enjoy gin with a little something extra for Christmas.

Recipe:
Freeze water at the base of a prosecco glass with a sprig of rosemary and cranberries
Add 25ml of our Navy Strength Pin Gin
Top up with prosecco

Day 10: Saint Nick's Old Fashioned
Saint Nick's Old Fashioned is a traditional cocktail, just like Santa's original name. This cocktail puts a warming twist on the classic, using our Golden Spiced Rum Cat for a rich, smooth flavour - created for enjoying by the fireplace on Christmas Eve.

Recipe:
Fill a chilled upcycled Pin Gin tumblr with ice
Add 50ml of our Golden Spiced Rum Cat
Add 2 dashes of angostura bitters
Add 10ml of sugar syrup (or 1 sugar cube, muddled with the bitters)
Gently stir
Garnish with an orange slice
Day 11: Clausmopolitan

This one’s for our Mrs Clauses. Take a well-earned break from wrapping presents and cooking the Christmas dinner and pour yourself a Clausmopolitan. Made with our smooth Lincolnshire Vodka, it’s chic, crisp, and exactly the kind of cocktail Carrie Bradshaw would approve of this Christmas.
Recipe:
Fill a cocktail shaker 2/3 with ice
Add 60ml of our Lincolnshire Vodka
Add 80ml of cranberry juice
Add 30ml of Cointreau
Add 15ml of lime juice
Add 15ml of sugar syrup
Shake for 10-15 seconds
Strain into a martini glass
Garnish with an orange twist
Day 12: Sloe Hot Toddy
To end our 12 Days of Christmas Cocktails on a high, we brought you our number one most wanted recipe and a true favourite among Pin Gin lovers, often spotted at our wintertime events and festive fairs. Made with our rich Sloe Pin Gin, this Hot Toddy is Christmas in a glass - warming, soothing, and deeply satisfying.

Recipe:
To a saucepan on the hob or a slowcooker, add:
175ml of cloudy apple juice
3-5 cinammon sticks
1-2 star anise
A small chunk of ginger root
2 teaspoons of honey
1/2 orange sliced
